We met over a decade ago at the Nueva School where we ran cross country, proved linear algebra theorems, and competed in international physics tournaments.
Madeline graduated from Columbia and did ML Engineering at Uber, Guac, and AtoB. She led Columbia's Entrepreneurship Club, Startup Accelerator, and Senior Fund. She also scouted startups and worked on consumer AI projects at Pear VC.
Ben graduated from Brown and worked at Jane Street, Instagram, and Jump Trading. He's taught over 1000 students, founded the Brown-RISD Matchmaking Club, and refactored Instagram's core privacy systems.
We envision a future grounded in purpose and awe over futility and distraction.
We believe that Magic is Other People. Magic is being surrounded by your people. Magic is meaningful work. Magic is falling in love. Magic happens when worlds collide.
